Integración. Bonita palabra pero bastante engañosa. ¿Que gracia tiene integrarse con un vecino tramposo, con deudas, peleas familiares, u otros líos? Esto es lo que sucede con la CAN (Comunidad Andina de Naciones, ex Pacto Andino) que sólo ha servido para que los políticos se llenen la boca de retórica sudamericana.
Para resucitar a este muerto, los presidentes de cuatros países miembros de la CAN se reúnen hoy en Quito para revivir este bloque y definir los pasos futuros en medio de circunstancias adversas, propiciadas por el dictador venezolano Hugo Chávez. Sin embargo, será su chulillo quien presidirá la CAN:
El presidente de Bolivia, Evo Morales, asume hoy martes la Presidencia de la Comunidad Andina de Naciones (CAN), tras haber expresado su preocupación por las diferencias que mantiene con sus colegas de la región. Morales había insinuado que los presidentes de Perú, Alejandro Toledo, y de Colombia, Álvaro Uribe, ponían en peligro la CAN con una supuesta doble moral sobre los acuerdos comerciales que pretenden firmar con otras naciones y bloques, en referencia a EEUU.El Perú necesita de mercados solventes que contribuyan al crecimiento de su economía. Abandonar un importante acuerdo comercial con los Estados Unidos -la primera economía del mundo- por fidelidad al vecindario es francamente estúpido. Esta solidaridad latinoamericana parece consistir en mantenernos tan pobres como nuestro vecino.
Bolivia de la mano de Evo Morales vuelve a convertirse en un lastre para nuestro país. Por historia recordamos que por ellos fuimos arrastrados a la guerra con Chile (para la que no estábamos preparados). Entonces los bolivianos valientemente abandonaron la lucha (batalla del Alto de la Alianza - 1880) mandando al carajo la alianza y a nosotros con ella.
A propósito ¿recordará todo esto el patriotísimo militar nacionalista Ollanta Humala cada vez que visita Bolivia, especialmente ahora que su partido se hunde?

Deberíamos ver a Chile, sin tanto problema con comunidad andina y otros, se aleja más de países que se quedan en la pobreza como Bolivia. Ahora tenemos la oportunidad de poder alcanzar a los chilenos y dejar atrás la pobreza clásica de los países andinos.
